Original Complaint against Acceptance Insurance published at on 21-Mar-15 says, verbatim –

I bought a used vehicle and went with this insurance because it was cheaper and thats the insurance company they offer you at the moment. Well I paid the first month on Feb. 6th and was told it was due March 6th. we recieved the bill in the mail the due date was March 6th well on March 6th I recieved a call saying my policy was cancelled March 6th at 12;01 due to non payment and even though the bill said March 6th was the due date it was due before March 6th? So i paid to reinstate my policy, it is now March 20th and I just recieved a bill today saying it is due March 20 after i just paid it on March 6th and that is the due date every month…. So I called the company and was told that my due date is the 6th of every month but they want to try to have the money by the 20th of the previous month so they can cancel you on the actual due date by 12:01 am if its not paid in full…. I thought if the due date is March 6th your bill should say March 6th not a date two weeks before? And if it’s due on the 6th how can they cancel you at 12:01 that morning and not give you that day to pay the bill? The company its self has some real ignorant and rude employees , Ive called my local office the one listed here and also they have a 1800 number so I’ve also called them both lines they were very rude and unprofessional, neither person could explain this to me and blamed the State has everything to do with it, I’ve had other insurances and never had this problem…Matter of fact never had a problem with the due date on any kind of bill, wether it was phone, cable, car payments , etc…. if the bill was due on a date you have until 12am the following morning. I’m so fed up with this insurance company and their ignorant ways , I’m about to switch companies…. Thanks |
