I applied for a payday loan. I was approved but was told on the phone , that since I had bad credit I would have to pay a fee. I said no and to cancel the loan. On Tuesday I received a email from Nicole Harvey with ACS lending group. The email stated that I was being sued for $1226.00. My bank account and social security was frozen as a case of fraud is running in my name. On Wednesday I received another email from Nicole stating that I was being given a settlement amount to stay out of court. The settlement amount was $786.45 which had to be paid in full by August 6. | Or I could do payments. The settlement amount would be $992.00 in 2 payments of $496.00 which has to be paid by August 15. If I cant do that then the outstanding balance of $1226.23 can be in 4 payments of $306.60. | I did not get any money for any loan | |
