Original Complaint against Actify NYC published at on 06-Nov-14 says, verbatim –

Saw a post on Career Builder for Entry Level positions and submitted my resume. Received an email from Cheyanne at Actify stated that my Resume accepted and to please call them to schedule an interview at 516-300-9774. Got a call from Cheyanne the next day scheduled a 1st interview, went to the 1st interview and was immediately accepted for a 2nd interview on another day. Showed up for 2nd interview meet with one of their associates and was taken out to the field and was shown what they do, they go to random businesses pushing a product to random people. Ok sure I’ll give it a shot, was taken back to the office met with the head honcho Ryan and was hired and started the next day. | 1st Day they help you out working on your pitch to try and sell the product, and after some words of wisdom and inspiration you get partnered off with someone for the day. They take you down to a warehouse to pick up the product and then your off. So basically all day long your going into random businesses trying to sell the product like a door to door sales person. They say it doesn’t matter if you sell the product or not, but that makes no sense, they really do want you to sell the product to as many people as you can. | So you start off doing this, then you can start training others to do this, and you can move up to a managerial position, and at the end you can start off another branch pushing a different product and start the process all over again but this time your the head honcho. | This cycle is repeated over and over again, they have various company names: RNG Associates, Affinity Concepts, J Mason Inc. I can say for a fact that they have a high turn over rate if they are constantly seeking new employees on a daily basis to become one of these Gloried Door to Door Sales Person.
