Original Complaint against Advance Cash Services published at Scamity.com on 08-Apr-15 says, verbatim –
I recieved an email claiming to be from Advance Cash Services. They claimed in the email that I owed them $870.69, with an original loan amount of $300. | In the email they said they would be filing charges against me for Bank Fraud, Violation of Federal Law of Debt and Banking, and Intentional Theft by Deception. | I had never heard of this company so I called the phone number at the bottom and got a man named David, who wanted my name, social security number and wanted me to pay the $870.69 IMMEDIATLY “or else”. | Then I looked up the address and found out the address actually belongs to Chester’s Check Cashing Center. I called them and spoke with the owner Joe, who assured me that it was a scam and to just delete it. |
