Started off in the morning when i had to make a delivery.we hooked up the trailer to the pickup and loaded up.i got ready to leave when the other driver noticed the tags was out on the trailer.i told the dispatcher lee lobbs that it was out he said to take the rollback truck i told him that if i had to drive that extremely rough riding truck that i wasnt goin.he said well if your not going to take that truck that i can go home cause he didnt need me there and he was going to go tell shane the manger.so i followed him in there and i told shane that the tags was out on the trailer.then lee all of a sudden found the new tags so i grab them and put them on and went made my delivery and pickups.when i got back to the yard shane called me into his office with lee lobbs.he then begun to tell me that i cant tell them what i am and what im not going to do.i said that you couldnt ask me to drive a truck that is going to hurt me while im driving.lee lobbs didnt do nothing but stare at the wall like a little kid in trouble.shane proceeded to tell that we should part ways and that i was a great worker and a hell of a driver but going to fire me anyways dont really make to much sense to me but i guess thats what you get when you hire a reality manger that has know idea how to run a trucking company.he claims that he drove trucks before but i highly doubt that.and as far as lee lobbs he couldn’t dispatch to save his live.so if you are thinking of going to work or even renting something from ahern rentals think twice cause they rip off customers and dont know how to treat employees. |
