This web site is a total scam, they dont protect the user. I went on line to their website to rent an apartment for vacation to New York with my family.The posting was fake, the host was fake and they took my money. I contacted Airbnb and they simply said Oh no! youve been a victim of fraud. We are so sorry.I asked if there was anything they can do since I was traveling that same day with my 3 children , husband and mother.Nothing, not even a discount to help the huge problem I encountered. I rented the apartment from their Site! How can this be? Please be very careful as this too can ruin your vacation that you have been saving for so long.
