Original Complaint against Aldo DiSorbo published at on 23-Jul-14 says, verbatim –

When moving, please check the BBB for this man’s name and not just the moving company name. This man has opened and closed and reopened moving companies all over the US, especially in Florida. Once the company starts getting a bad reputation on BBB, Yelp, Consumer Affairs, etc…..he changes the name of the company and starts with a clean slate. Class Action is needed, but we need more people. Here’s they way they work one of the many deceptions: All State cancelled on us less than 24 hrs before our move. Advising they found a higher paying customer. | The sold our space to another person. They tried to get us to cancel the order, meaning they would get the full deposit of $1300 if we cancelled and it would not be refunded. All State’s President: Aldo DiSorbo has a horrible reputation all over the country. Do your research, he has closed and re-opened moving broker companies all over the US under different names. Here’s the deal: they contracted at a certain price, weight and date, then they changed it over and over again and each time asking us “do you want to cancel”. | They make it impossible to finish the move all the while riding you to cancel and forego your 50% deposit. I was one of the lucky ones! All State did not move me, so I never had the disadvantage so many others I have read about did with them holding thier items and then damanding additional funds to get your stuff out of storage–a common practice with all of his companies which involves telling the customer their items weighted more than estimated and now they owe $800-$2000 (that seems to be the range as far as I have read in other’s complaints) more or their items will not be released. | For those unfortunates that are unable to pay the additional fees, their items are stored at a low class facitlity where the items are exposed to rain, damage and theft. Numerous accounts of damaged property is rampant across the internet. Lastly, please be aware that the “resolved” BBB complaints are considered resolved if the complaining party does not respond to the BBB within 10 working days without notice. Most often the complaining party is unaware of the company’s response. Pay attention to the complaint type and amount over the course of just a few months. |
