Original Complaint against ALDO Shoes published at on 29-Sep-14 says, verbatim –

About two weeks ago I purchased a pair of shoes from Aldo Shoes Countryside mall Clearwater Florida. However at the time I was at the Countryside Westfield mall location they didn’t have my size. The manager Amanda kindly offered to order them for me online and have them shipped to my house, which sounded like a great idea at the time. They also only had one size in stock at their store, which was not my size at all. So Amanda the manager said I could order the shoes and that I could have them shipped to the store or to my house. I decided to order the shoes through her. She took my license and debit card and proceeded to process the transaction and stated I would receive an email with receipt and confirmation. She also stated that when I got the shoes I could return or exchange them at any time. | When I received my shoes in the mail from Aldo I noticed that the shoes looked worn. For example the tan sols were black as if they had been worn and the Aldo sticker was removed from one shoe leaving a glue dirty look. I decided I wanted to return the shoes so I went to the store where I purchased the shoes and asked to return them. I had the entire documents that were sent with the shoes and the emails confirming I ordered them. The “Manager” Amanda was completely rude and wouldn’t return them. “She said these shoes haven’t been warn and Aldo’s floors were just dirty so that is the way all Aldo shoes look from people trying them on, then she proceeded to clean the shoes??? (Because they were in fact dirty and worn) “She also stated to me that “yes I remember you, we order the shoes you tried on in blue and order the black ones for you in the correct size you needed” clearly she knew I had purchased the shoes. She said she wouldn’t return the shoes because I didn’t have original receipt. However she never gave me a receipt she took my license at the time of purchase my debit card and set the account up and ordered the shoes and said I would receive it in my email the confirmation and if I was dissatisfied I could bring the shoes back at any time. | I am highly dissatisfied with the customer service you have at the location and the manager you have running it and am considering never shopping there again because of this matter. I have never had an issue like this in all the years I have been shopping with Aldoshoes. I now am stuck with a pair of worn dirty shoes that I would like to return for my money back but can’t according to ignorant manager Amanda when I had all documents proving I purchased them also including bank statements. I hope this so called manager gets some better training on customer service or gets fired for misleading information and representing this company so bad. |
