Original Complaint against Allstate published at Scamity.com on 28-Apr-14 says, verbatim –
After viewing my first policy renewal with itemized monthly activity, it became apparent that what Allstate is advertising is just plain bogus. They make a deposit into your account, reducing the premium amount owed by that amount. Then, they cut you a check for the same amount and raise the premium back up by that same amount. Net gain for you and me – ZERO. What a shady way to get people’s business. If there has not already been a class-action lawsuit filed over it, there should be.
