Original Complaint against ALTEC LANSING published at on 02-May-14 says, verbatim –

I bought my Altec Lansing inAir 5000 over a year ago and it recently stopped working. I have called multiple numbers included in the paperwork with my product including 855-292-4087 where I was told to call a different number because they cannot help. I called the number given 800-258-3288 where i consistently, all times of day, everyday receive a message that states they are receiving a higher than normal call volume and to call back. I have also emailed with no response. I did some research online and have discovered that the product is not compatible with the latest updates on my Mac, the inAir guide app is no longer available and the most recent iTunes update is no longer compatible either. I also understand through my research that they will not be correcting the issue although i have not found any official information from the company. I am unable to return the product since it is outside of the 1 year warranty.
