Original Complaint against AmeriBanc National published at Scamity.com on 22-Sep-16 says, verbatim –
These people called my house and when I told them it was illegal to call a number that is on the National do not call list,she started sounding like I didn't know what I was talking about.I re-explained to her that the number she called is on the Do not call list and her company could be sued for calling.She replied with "sir,you sound stressed,can I call someone to help you?".After demanding the name of her company several times she finally gave me the name.Then she asked if I wanted to talk to a supervisor.I hung up on her.
