Original Complaint against American Legal Services PC published at Scamity.com on 31-Jul-14 says, verbatim –
I want to report a Ryan Smith that called me at my work. Threatening me that he was going to contact my work to collect the money. The money I did not owe for a pay day loan that he would not give me a name only how much I owed. He was yelling at me and I was asking him not to and his response was he was not yelling. I ask for his name and number which is Ryan Smith Phone number (646) 657-3552. I paid with a money card big mistake. I am an idiot, I know but when I call him back to get a conformation number he did not pick up right away. So I know he is using a Magic Jack and calling from another country. I ask him about it and he said no. He started to get nervous after I told him. He told me he will send me all the information in an email and he has not. So I keep call and no answer. So I put in a compliant to Magic Jack and the company that manufactures them. I called the legal firm in which they are stating they work for and the response is they are using our company name. Call the FBI.
