Original Complaint against AmeriMark Direct published at Scamity.com on 01-Dec-14 says, verbatim –
I spent some time making an order for 2 items from AmeriMark. When the order was totaled they added a .99 cent fee and called it some kind of repurposing fee. The FAQ list said that was for a smooth and speedy replacement in case it got lost. I thought that was weird and I decided not to order because it wasn’t right. It also made me suspicious. I read some of the answers to other FAQs and I found some weird answers that you wouldn’t find on other store sites. So I googled “Is AmeriMark legit?” and found they have lots of complaints of re-billing customers with phony charges, etc. plus class-action lawsuit, etc. They also say they will discount your items a very small amount if you pay $14.95 a year to become a member. |
