I have never had a medical or dental plan which failed to pay legitimate claims — until my experience last year with the Ameritas dental plan. During all of 2014, I paid the expsensive monthly dental insurance fee to Ameritas. Yet never once did Ameritas pay a legitimate dental clauim. | Ameritas typically made an automatic denial of any claim and requested more information. When the necessary information was provided by my dentist, they still denied the claim. | After one year, I cancelled the Ameritas policy. |
