Original Complaint against Answers By Gateway published at on 16-Jul-14 says, verbatim –

Tech did not know how to access my CMOS even though they are Acer professionals. When I realized what she wanted I accessed my CMOS and she had me change my boot order to CD-DVD first. She then had me try to boot from a non-bootable disk. She then gave up and told me a senior tech would contact me. | I did some research on the internet and found that alt F2 would start the Acer e-recover program but my disk was corrupt. | I then found out that there was a hidden disk partitiion on my hard drive and changed my boot oreder to access the hidden partition first. I then restored my computer to factory state. This person should have known this. | The senior tech phoned the next day and I told him I wanted my money back ($199.99US + Can GST + Sk Sales Tax). I was told customer relations was not available and they would phone me the next day. They phoned me two days later when I was not home. I phone them today and was told customer relations was not available and would phone me in 30mins and i am still waiting.
