Original Complaint against AppliancesConnection published at on 27-Jan-15 says, verbatim –

After reading similar reports from other costumers look like it is a common practice with this company to lie to the costumers. | I buy from them hotel style heating/ AC unit for my high rise condo in Chicago on Dec. 22, 2014. This unit is a main heating source in my house so fast delivery was more important to me, then the $50.00 price diference from other stores. Unit was listed online as IN STOCK. READY TO SHIP. I call them and confirm this information. Their shipping policy is 10-14 days. Because I put my order during Christmas time I give them extra week. On January 16, 2015 I ask about the status online and receive response , that they are out of stock and waiting for this unit and they will send me my merchandise on 01/20/15. On January 26, 2015 I call them and they stil claim they don’t have this unit and don’t have idea when it will arrive in their warehouse. I do understand, that sometimes winter prevent timely delivery or merchandise or Its out of stack, but I never expect to be treated by customer service people as a pest who dare to complain. When I try to explain to them, that time was a issue for me , Kate ( i m not sure it was her name. Very rude, smart wanna be women) give me lesson about why I need the AC unit in the winter ? It was really pointless to try to explain that this unit is a heater too. after I requested, that I want cancel this order she give me another speech blaming winter, and God know what. Point is she did not offer apology for delay, she was obnoxious and very rude and she hang phone on me! | I call again and spoke with another person . This time I spoke with the man . He confirm ,that my order has been cancel. I ask about money back And he claim my credit card has never been charged And hang up the phone again On me. Try to call again and was on hold for almost one hour. You can tell they don’t want to talk to you, because automated system tell you “you are 2nd in line ” then after few minutes you are moving to ” caller number 5″! Lack of communications, rude costumer service, lies are the reason I will not recommend this company to anybody. if I will not cancel this order I’m sure I will never receive my merchandise anyway. During the summer they will ask why I need heater when is nice and warm? My debit card was not charged so I don’t have to deal with them anymore. Horrible expirence. |
