Wendy Atkinson with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Innovative Real Estate is easily one of the most unethical real estate “professionals with whom Ive worked since my wife and I, first-time home buyers with sterling credit and a healthy down payment, began looking earlier this year (2013).Wendy served as the listing agent for a home we wanted to purchase.Our offerwell over the listing pricewas accepted by the sellers and we went forward with inspection.The sellers backed out of the contractusing an obscure inspection resolution clausebecause they had another, even higher cash offer that came in after ours.After, mind you, wed already dropped cash for the inspection and other loan-related expenses.Wendy wouldnt return our agents calls throughout the debacle.If the rest of her agency is anything like her, avoid these folks at all costs.
