Original Complaint against Bump Girl published at DirtyScam.com says, verbatim –
It wasnt the first time that I was online shopping for clothes. But it was definitely the first time that I was online shopping from Bump Girl. I had never believed my friends when they use to mention the kind of online shopping frauds that happened with them. I always believed in the saying that, when another person says something about someone, it is always exaggerated. And that, you only get to know the truth when you do it for yourself. Due to this belief of mine, even though when a person would suggest something, it would affect me lesser than it did to other people. My friends even told me about how they had, apart from the Bump Girl, while buying from other e-commerce websites, been cheated. And when they asked for a refund or something, they never got any. But I did not have a single bad experience in online shopping till then. In fact, whenever any of my friends wanted an online clothing shop, they always asked for my suggestion. I made them understand by relating to my size and all, about how to clothe shop. And sometimes even, how to just shop generally, online. Sometimes I even feel that when a person gains this amount of confidence, as much as I did, he/she is bound to receive failure in his next dealings. And so is what happened with me.Since you have got to know from my talks that I was a person who likes to experiment. Especially online. Where you have lots of opportunities and its so hard to ignore the attraction that the photographs of everything possess. So I came across this e-commerce called Bump Girl. I had a glance over the photographs of the products they say, they offered and found them attractive. Clothe shopping is one of my favorite activities and I love to do it all the time. I had a look and did some shopping from this website of a hundred dollars. I had scheduled the delivery of a fixed day and time. I had no idea of what trouble was I putting myself into! In the scheduled delivery, I had selected the delivery time. To start with, my product was not delivered at the mentioned time. So I had to call and reschedule my delivery. At the date which I wanted to reschedule it, I was told that the redelivery person wasnt available. Because of which I had to wait for the delivery person to be available so that the company to whom I had paid for the product that I had already bought, would come to give me my product! I thought to let it go because then the customer care executive mentioned me about the rewards which he would give in return, as compensation for understanding their problem. So I said, It is fine. If you say, youd make it up to me!The customer care executive was so ignorant that as soon as I said so. He hung up. He hung up without mentioning the date and time of my rescheduled delivery. I had to again go through the complete process of pressing keys and my order number and wait till I was transferred to some other customer care executive and explain my case again. This fellow was so stupid that he started asking me the name of the person who had forgotten to mention me the rescheduled date and time to make sure the company punished him! I had to make him understand that, why would I care to ask the customer care executive, his name? On which he replied, mam! Its the rule of the company that every customer care executive had to say the name as soon as he greeted customers over the phone! I somehow managed to get through it and make him understand my complete case and got the information about my rescheduled delivery date and time. But then comes the other trouble! No rewards or compensation mam! Sorry! he says. I argued to him, what about the promise that the previous customer care executive made? To which he again started asking me the name of that executive. This implies if an executive of that firm did not say the name, in punishment to it, the customer to whom that executive was talking to, would have to suffer! Which I did!At the rescheduled delivery date, again the product wasnt in my hand before, or at the mentioned time. But this time, I had some instincts about such a thing to happen and so I was at home, unlike in the previous case. When I received the product, I asked the delivery person to wait until I checked the product. He was so adamant that it almost took me ten minutes to convince him to wait. And hereto I had to explain to him my complete case as if he was the owner of the company who would give me my rewards which I was promised by his customer care executives. After minutes of convincing and arguing when he finally decided to wait. I opened the product and see what! I hadnt received the same product that I had ordered. The colors were different. I mentioned this thing to the delivery person and he said, this is exactly why I did not wish to wait! This is what happens to wherever I go. He even knew that the customer care executive to which I was calling to complain about the dissimilarity of the product seen and product received, would not be entertained. And he was so right about it. This time there was another customer care executive to which I even mentioned the name of the previous customer care executive and asked to please transfer my call to him. I had to wait for 10 minutes after which my call was disconnected and I finally gave up.I had bought a dress for my husbands birthday party. Not only did I not receive the dress after the party was already over, but also did I not receive the dress that I ordered. So I guess, I learned my lesson that day that, not all that people say is an exaggeration!
