Customer service is important, even if you are a successful business. I used Dave Tax a few years back.I have always done my own taxes but as I had a number of significant life changes, I wanted an expert to handle them.Dave and I sat down and in less than 60 minutes and $1,000 my taxes were done. It was worth it.The last few years I went back to doing my own taxes takes me about 30 to 45 minutes.This year my return is going to be more complicated so I called Dave Tax and was treated rudely.Bottom-line, Dave Tax did not want my business. I was interrogated and chastised by him for not using him every year.It would have been nice to hear: “Welcome back. I understand there is more work involved for Dave Tax but that is why he quoted me $1,250 along with saying “I dont know if you want to pay that much. Cost is not the issue.I enjoy doing my taxes I am a numbers guy. This year I wanted to hire an expert (Dave Tax) to help me out.When a business has such a rude attitude, I wouldnt use them if their service was free.I guess Dave Tax is making so much money that he doesnt need my business.I am still in shock with how I was treated.
