Ive been a patient of Dr. Ann Newsome before, about 6 years ago. Back then I usually saw her physician assistant, Dr. Mai but that didnt bother me that much because I really liked Dr Mai.On the rare occasions that I did see Dr. Newsome she was great.My mom switched to Kaiser so I stopped seeing either of the doctors.After getting married my husband has a different insurance so yesterday I called to make an appointment with Dr. Newsome.The staff that answered the phone bounced me back and forth 3 times and kept me on hold for seven and a half minutes.Once I got them on the phone they were rude and impatient.Then they told me that Dr. Newsome is not available for 3 months until mid February but I could see somebody else in the office.When I asked if Dr Mai was still there, I was abruptly told, no shes no longer here and I dont know where she is.Sorry but no thanks I may have been able to wait a little longer to see Dr Newsome if it hadnt been for her horrible office staff.
