I went to Dr. Liddell Marti for 5 years without a problem, until this year. Granted, all of my experiences with her have been rushed and we never had a lot of face time together.This years yearly check up was completely different. I turned 30 before my appointment with Dr Liddell.Before my birthday I had an appointment with my gynecologist and discussed that Im not ready to have kids yet but wanted to make sure I had time to make my mind up still.She assured me I still have time and nothing to worry about. During my check up with Liddell, she asked if I planned on having children now that Im 30.Liddell doesnt do my well-woman exams, but I let her know that I recently had one done with my gyno and we discussed that my husband and I are still debating kids.Liddell then told me I didnt have time to “debate it and if I wanted to get pregnant I needed to do it now.I told her that I had been told that I still had time to make my mind up by my other doctor.Liddell argued me and insisted that I didnt have time. I later scheduled another appointment with my gyno to talk this awful experience over and she was floored.It was an unprofessional experience that set me into anxiety for no reason.I have since found a new GP, one that doesnt pressure me into huge life choices without medical backing.My last experience with Liddell was the worse experience Ive ever had with a doctor.
