Horrible, incompetent people. I wish I never went Dr. Lin Don. I have encountered so many problems with the staff in the past and, finally, with the doctor himself.These people just don’t know how to communicate effectively.I asked them to call my cell phone, but they called my house phone trying to get ahold of my parents first.That didn’t work because my father picked up thend got mad at them for being incompetent.If the ex-patient is now 23 years old, why would you feel the need to call her parents? Hmm?The main issue was trying to get a copy of vaccination records, as I will be going overseas soon.Both the staff member Karen and Dr. Lin tried explaining so many different things—that someone has to be there in person to pick up records/ you can send over a signature (but apparently they’d have nothing to compare it to because my signature is not on file–he tried to make this seem like it was my fault, but how did that make sense since I was a minor when I went to this PEDIATRICIAN)/you can fax over (but not email since they are living in prehistoric times with no email capability) authorization but still need someone to come in person/etc etc,..Finally, after going in stupid circles, Dr. Lin realized that I can just ask my new doctor to get the records from them.OH how wonderful! Why didn’t he or Karen tell me that in the beginning? Why did he try to push me into driving all the way into Chinatown SF this entire time, as if there weren’t any other options? We are going around in circles only to come to a simple solution.I asked him those questions, then he responded by asking me why am I being so hostile.. THAT made me hostile.Why am I hostile? Because I had to deal with his incompetent staff, who gave me attitude ever since the first phone call when she realized I don’t speak Chinese!I told him that, then he abruptly said, “I have patients to see… ” CLICK. Wow, great doctor. That’s really a great way to handle a situation.If you are looking for a professional environment, don’t come here.I only came here because it’s location USED to be convenient, but now my parents and I regret it!
