Dr. Mitroo Pradnya is a great doctor; however she can’t keep an appointment to save her life! I have been here three times.I should have known after the first time to never come back.They always schedule me on Mondays, and apparently Mondays are their busiest/worst days to be seen; but somehow, I don’t see other days being any better.Anyway, first Monday I go in and am literally sitting in the waiting area (not the waiting room, but the waiting area where you are facing the receptionist) for OVER AN HOUR. That, to me, is beyond unacceptable.Even at a super busy doctor’s office, I have never waited for more than forty-five minutes.By the time it was finally my turn, I wanted to be like, screw it, I don’t even want this appointment anymore.When the doctor went out of the exam room for a min, I overheard her and her receptionist speaking loudly about “double-booking” patients on Mondays and needing to figure that out… Hmmm…ya think? Left the office two full hours after my appointment time… inexcusable.Next time around wasn’t much better, except for the fact that I was anticipating the wait to be that long, so I at least brought a book to read.Again, why is my appointment time at 4PM but I’m not being seen until 5? Irritating but at least Dr. Mitroo does a good job with her diagnosis and care when she does see you…But third straw is the last…Today… after having an appointment for WELL OVER TWO MONTHS, I get there and expect what’s happened before… 15 mins tops of seeing the doc after hours & hours of waiting, you know, the ush.This time, the receptionist checks me in, and I’m actually 15 min late. [Side note that I am NEVER late to doctor’s appointments; however, this time, my appointment was exactly on the hour, and I didn’t want to miss an entire hour of work before that just to drive over and twiddle my thumbs.So I planned on actually being a few minutes late.] She tells me, “Oh the doctor is running a little late…” I’m like, “OMG, wow… actually a clue ahead of time.”I said, “UMM, do u know how late?” “She’s not here. She’ll be about 20 min.” “Okayyy, how many people are ahead of me?” “Three.”Are you effing serious? I show up 15 minutes late to MY SPECIFIC appointment time, this lady is not even here yet, she’s got three others in front of me and wont be here for at least another 20 minutes? Which, by the way, who’s to say her “20 minutes” won’t be 45 or an hour? “Do you want to wait?” “UHHM, NO.”At least I was given the option this time to wait, instead of waiting endlessly……..SO UNPROFESSIONAL that it deserves all caps. Yes, indeed. NEVER AGAIN. Shame shame shame!
