Are you looking for a kind, considerate, professional Oncologist to provide the best care for your loved one facing Cancer and potentially end of life treatment? Im here to share my experience one week ago- with Dr. Raymond Lee, MD. Run!As fast as you can- RUN in the opposite direction. This man is a disgrace to his profession.We nervously (but hopefully) came to him for his expertise in cancer treatment, advice and care ; and what he did, in a manner of 5 minutes, was to insult us, take away our hope and treat us like second class citizens.We are Hispanic. English is our first language. I attended my mothers first appointment with him and he spoke to her like she was mentally disturbed child .I tried to give him the benefit of doubt at first, I thought maybe he was just very rushed, having a bad day .we all do, even doctors have them, I get that.No, this man told me (in front of my 78 year old mother) and daughter- when asked about receiving chemotherapy for her colon cancer he responded with : Shes too old and debilitated not fit for chemotherapy .This is not what you say at a first appointment to a woman who has been fighting for her life for the last 4 months in the hospital (2 months in the ICU).This man has no common sense, no bedside manner, no idea of what good professional care looks like, from what I experienced.How dare him disrespect my frail 78 year old mother!! He is a disgraceful shame.I hope no one else has to waste their time even more precious- when there is little left of it. Lucy Arellano
