I actually give them zero stars for a completely unprofessional experience and I have to laugh that their self-description is: “we are relationship based. started out pre approved.Then received a commitment letter with a few conditions and now am buried under so many obtuse document requests Im close to tears.This isnt my first mortgage, so I know how a loan is supposed to go but here I am, more than 60 days later, having jumped through a gazillion hoops, yet have no loan and no rejection letter.The sellers are getting impatient/angry, I look like a fool, and I am literally exhausted from having provided them with document after document.So what was so bad? after reminding them Id be in Europe for vacation and unreachable and asking if theyd need anything so I could handle it before I left, crickets.Then, wasnt in Europe for a day when I got a panicked call demanding I send a number of supporting documents immediately.A week or so later, the woman who was handling my account said she was sending over some information.lol. thought it was going to be my commitment letter, but instead it was a notice of her leaving the company.After 60 days, a quick call to another mortgage broker taught me when a bank keeps asking for more and more documents, they are NOT ever going to lend.How is it everyone knows this but not fm home loans? ugh. Id use anyone but them.
