Golden Oak Lending keeps mailing me mortgage solicitations that are disguised to look like other types of mail (i.e. non junk mail).The latest one used pink paper inside a white envelope so that it looks like an overdue bill notification.They also put the name of the my original mortgage company in the address window as another trick.Most people already know this, but they get your mortgage information via public record.When I contacted them directly to discuss further they could care less.Shady unethical advertising doesnt give me a good feeling that they dont employ similar tricks with their mortgage products and hence I would advise to avoid Golden Oak at all costs.
