This is as much about Allstate and insurance as it is about Mark and his office. I have had Allstate for my two cars and new home, no claims, no tickets or accidents. My rates have gone up but I stayed with them because I was lazy to look for other insurances.Recently I have detected a problem with my home. When I spoke with Mark the first time he said it isnt Allstates problem. The second time I asked him about it he emailed me the following Allstate will most likely not cover that scenario since it was not a sudden loss caused by a peril like lightning, as one such example.You can always file a claim; however, the policy that you have will remove the 20% claim free discount as well as add a surcharge whether Allstate pays out or not. What a joke of an agent, a company and an industry.
