Dr. Korah was perhaps one of the most frustrating providers Ive ever dealt with. Regretfully, because I had a HMO and it was a mid-year provider switch, I was “stuck with her for the remainder of 2017 once I did switch over to her.She was very off-putting during my initial appointment with her I was cut off multiple times and my concerns were dismissed and invalided.She wanted to talk about what she wanted to talk about, not what was important to me as a patient.And let me tell you, our interpretations of my “presenting problem varied dramatically.Her bedside manner is terrible. I felt no empathy, compassion, or warmth.I didnt feel understood or cared for or that even my concerns were valid.She is also very referral happy and sent me out to see several specialists; it made me wonder why I even went to see her for any of my concerns.My blood pressure was always through the roof when seeing her.Whenever I would see another provider (or even my new provider), its always been normal, if not described as “excellent.I can only deduce its only because of how much she stressed me out.
