Complaint: I did a home renovation and had my share of trouble with contractors, but this guy was the one true rip-off artist I encountered. The old sliding doors in my new house where not working well, and his estimate to get them moving smoothly again didn’t seem too unreasonable. Then he showed up, basically, with some WD-40 and a vacuum cleaner and charged me, basically, the equivalent of $500 and hour for work I easily could have done myself.
