Euro Motor Cars Body Shop Review

I hit a deer doiing 35 MPH and damaged my 2010 Merceds E550 front clip and hood. Fenders were untouched. I called Euro Motor Cars Collision on Nicholson Lane in Rockville as they are an Elite II Merceds Benz Auto body shop. The manager told me how great they are and guarenteed the car would be restored to Mercedes factory specs, that I would not be able to tell any repairs were made. I bought the car from Euro Motor Cars in Bethesda and this was their shop. The 1st estimate was about $7,500 then they started taking the car apart. The 2nd estimate was over $13,000 and the final was $17,500 for painting a hood and replacing the damaged front clip, grill and lights. Aftert hey had the car for 6 weeks they called me and said the car is ready and their quality control dept. had approved the car for pick up. | When I got there to pick it up the hood had dirt in 2 places, the hood and fenders were not lined up and THEY SCRATCHED MY CAR ON THE LEFT 1/4 PANEL, TRUNK LID & RIGHT DOORS!! They promissed they would correct the items and call me in a couple days. I went back a 2nd time after a few days and the hood was not lined up, the fenders were not lined up and the dirt on the hood was still visible. The scratches looked better but still visible. So I had to go back again- 3rd time the hood was still not lined up, the fenders were better but not right , the dirt on the hood was better but still visibile and where they buffed the scratches now had swirl marks. So I had to go back again. This time the hood was still not lined up and the fenders were still not right. The dirt in the hood was still visible & the scatches looked better but still visible. I had to go back a 4th time!! This time the hood was still not lined up, the fenders looked fine and the dirt on the hood was still visible. Swirl mark and scratches still there! So I had to go back a 5th time. This time is was raining. The dirt on the hood was barely visible, the hood and fenders were lined up and I couldn’t see the swirl marks and scratches because of the rain. | The next day I came out side and the sun was out. Guess what the scratches were still visible along with the swirl marks from the buffer. I spent 10 hours, 5 times driving and back and forth to their shop. When I talked to the manager for the 5 th time he said he would have the shop in Germantown buff the paint and fix a loose fog light since I had driven so much. I was having the car serviced in Germantown. When I dropped off the car the service person I explained the issues and ask him to confirm with the manager at the Euro Motor Cars Collision center on Nicholson lane in Rockville. I also emailed the manager and insurance cordinator. the repairs were never made. | I had Cermic coat applied to the car when I bought it which cost over $1,000. When they scratched the paint and buffed it that removed the cermic coat protective coating. This shop is a rip off stay away!!
