Complaint: I was trying to get a loan online for a while then someone from GE National Bank called me stating that I was approved for a 5000 loan. I sat on it for almost a month then x-mas was coming up so I decided to give it a try. I called the so called bank back to get it started. He ran my credit & told me that in order to get the loan I needed to send them 50 bucks because of my credit report. So after I loaded my card I called back then he told me it will be 100 bucks & that they can only take a payment using a iTunes card from walgreens. So I did it he got that payment of 100 bucks over the phone. He then put me on hold & told me he needed another fee of 200 bucks for money gram to process all the information. Then we went through another process for him just to tell me that the loan will be available to me but they needed an additional 150 bucks & like a stupid a*s I did it again. Now he said it’s done & it will be ready in 2 hrs. He gave me a fake reference number & when I tried to call back there was no answer. I called first thing in the morning to ask what’s going on & do you know that they said that it will be another 50 bucks & they would put it directly in my account. I then got mad because I was realizing that I was being scammed so I asked to speak with his boss and they accused me of being mean & calling them frauds he began trying to yell back at me & said CALL THE FBI THERE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO DO NOTHING ABOUT IT & hung up in my face. I called back again stating that I want my money back he told me it’s gonna be a 450 dollar fine so at this moment I’m irate. He says his name is Jack Smith but he’s sounds middle eastern all of them do but they have regular names, another red flag I should paid attention to. It’s been a month I decided to call back to get my money back he told me that it was a guy that worked there that he had to fire because he had a lot of complaints about the guy scamming people & that he would give me my money back. Then he told me that it with be a 50 dollar fee so I’m like whatever man just send me my 500 through money gram. He said that I have to purchase another iTunes card & send it that way I said you guys have 550 bucks of mine take it from that he said he can’t. I said I’m not sending another dime to you guys I’ve never heard of having to pay somebody for a loan or to get there money back so he hung up on me again. I called back and got into it again telling him he & his company is a fraud he still was trying to get me to send 50 to get my money back. He said that’s the only way he can help me & that he’s just gonna hang up. I said so my 550 dollars it’s just gone sitting in your so called bank. He then hung up on me again very rude & I hope somebody catch these crooks. I have 4 kids who’s Christmas suffered because of these a*******.
