Complaint: Purchased directly from manufacturer in stead of their distributer J.C. Whitney because of the special type of conv. top for a special interest car called a Maclaren which has a unique top as opposed to the normal Mustang top ! They delivered the wrong top even after my insistance of talking to an employee who was familiar with my request. Kee agreed that the notes kept showed that my order was not the standard top. Therefore apologies were in order and Kee was nice enough to absorb the return freight costs,sending UPS to my home for pick-up. The next communication was nearly two weeks later by phone telling me they were sending a portion of the top back due to my improper preparation in return shipping- costing me $78.00. I did nothing to the top when out of the carton and merely placed the top back into the ORIGINAL packing and box after observation ! Now, if there was a flaw / damage to the top,what if anything could be bad enuf to warrant their actions. What I’m trying to vision is a mangled piece or slashed piece of material that could have happened during return shipping. If the 78 dollar piece is going to set them back,I’d be willing to take the hit! But I really did nothing to deserve these accusations Fred Casselberry, FloridaU.S.A.
