So after 7 years of dating I married my high school sweetheart on August 4, 2007! We were the”perfect” couple. We did everything together and told each other everything! 6 months after we were married my younger sister passed away. My husband was my rock through it all. So supportive and patient! A little over a year after that my dad unexpectedly passed as well, again my husband was a godsend! We decided in 2009 to try to start a family. We were both very excited! I had already known I suffered with poly cystic ovarian syndrome and it could be difficult for us. We eventually ended up at a fertility clinic. He went to every appointment and held my hand while I was poked and prodded at like a science experiment. He was amazing! || We are both nurses and I had gotten him a job at our local community hospital, prior to that he was a traveling nurse so he would be out of town sometimes and I never had a doubt he was being faithful! While orienting at my hospital he had ran into a girl he went to high school with that was now a nurse as well. I remember him telling me about it, but again thought nothing of it and also being a male nurse he had mostly female coworker”friends”. We had all gone out a few times after work and my husband and I even were invited to her and her husband’s house before. Not long after taking the job at my hospital my husband decided he wanted to continue to travel and convinced me by saying it was best for us financially. I never noticed anything different about him really so when he called me from out of town and asked for a divorce over the phone I was shocked to say the least! I immediately drive to where he was. When I arrived he was very cold and matter of fact! He would not let me sit on his bed in the hotel room and simply said he just didn’t love me anymore! I asked if it was someone else! He insisted no! || After months of crying, begging, and some pretty good investigating I found out he was in fact having an affair with this nurse he had went to school with that continued to work with me! After I had all my proof I confronted him and he did finally admit it! I confronted her as well and she cried and played the victim and told me how sorry she was and she couldn’t believe what she had done. She said it was so unlike her and she barely recognizes herself anymore! She swore she would cut off all ties with him. || At the time I was very naive, broken, and desperate. So I took him back. It wasn’t long until I found out there had been contact again!….and again….and again!!! I eventually woke up and said NO MORE! Dusted off and kicked him to the curb! I’m now engaged to a wonderful man that has two children that we are raising together! I’m thankful for the way things ended up but still feel women like her should definitely be outed;)
