Complaint: I was on the internet and all of a sudden a dialogue box popped up which indicated that I have serious viruses on my computer which resulted in disabling several programs. The dialogue box hasd a telephone number which I called. The number was 1-877-514-6954. A technician picked up the phone and proceded to scare me into purchasing her services. She gained access to my computer and proceded to supposedly fix the viruses that were on my computer. The cost was $500. After she finished I hung up and did some research on this company after the fact and found out that it probably was a scam. My main concern is that they have my credit card information and potentially can now rip me off again.
