Tammy L. Laramee Rhode Island Rhode Island

2013 was an extremely difficult year for me. As the year started my Mother’s health began to decline and as an only child I had to assume the role of parent/caregiver to both my parents as they have gotten older. My Mother eventually decided to leave Rhode Island and return to where she was originally from in NY. During this same time my Father, who was living in FL was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and the ugliness of dementia set in extremely fast and crippled this once independent and active man at a very alarming rate. I myself have a chronic illness and was trying my best to keep going as best I could. I was in physical therapy 5 mornings a week attempting to keep on top of everything in my very busy life. My son was 4 and a busy little bee. I was Mom’s taxi to school and activities and wishing I could wear some roller skates to keep up with him each day. My Husband of 9 years was working lots of extra hours, or so I thought to keep our heads above water.

I felt something was not quite right but I could not put my finger on it.When July arrived it was time for my Husband’s 37th birthday and a dear friend’s birthday also. I planned and executed a HUGE luau to celebrate their special day. We had so many friends and family coming and the more the merrier. I was wrapped up in the planning and cooking and fun. The morning of the party my Husband asked if I would mind if we invited 2 more people. Tammy Hammond-Porter-DeLauro-Laramee and her husband. He said she worked at the law firm handling my disability case. I did not think twice about it and agreed. Tammy Laramee arrived at our luau, in our backyard in black high heels, short tight skirt and very low-cut top. She had bleached blonde hair with what I later found out were extensions to add to the mix. She was 50. I was busy and was having a great time and enjoying the time. My Husband and friends were enjoying themselves and the party went into the night. I thought it odd that Tammy Laramee and her husband stayed until the end and kept volunteering to help me clean up saying she had OCD and loved to clean. She finally left my house sometime after midnight. The next thing I know she is texting me and calling me and inviting us to a bbq at her home. They seemed nice enough but there was something I could not put my finger on. She had grown children, grandchildren and she and her (newest) husband were raising his granddaughter as their child. She was 5 and my son was tickled playing with her and the grandchildren that were older than he was. We enjoyed several picnics at their home and socializing with their family. I soon realized that Tammy had not friends….just family which puzzled me. She also shared with me that she had cheated on her 2nd husband with her current husband and he cheated on his wife with her. We even hired her husband to replace our door in our house and a few other odd jobs. She also began texting me many times each day just ‘checking in’ on me. She would give me updates on my case from the lawyers office. I began getting very uncomfortable with the idea of someone other than my lawyer reading my confidential medical paperwork. At the end of the summer one of my dearest friends husband died unexpectedly and I felt I needed to be there for her. She lived in Massachusetts 2 1/2 hrs away. Tammy jumped and volunteered to watch my son. My Husband was working. On another day she had my husband and son down for dinner. While still reeling from this I was notified that my Mother was terminal and was in a Hospice in NY. Every other day I took the 4-6 hr drive to sit with her and talk to her and hold her hand. During this Tammy was so ‘helpful.’ Cooking for my son and husband and…..helping them deal with the situation. Sending me home plates of food. This went on for over a month. The morning we were leaving for the funeral in NY Tammy Laramee showed up with coffee for my husband and ‘snacks for the trip.’ I thought it very odd and the vibes were beginning to take shape. There were many other nights that my husband and son would go to her house and eat. I later found out that her husband was not there and my son and her granddaughter would be playing while my Husband and her were going at it elsewhere in the house. I also found that in the mornings when he said he was at the gym he was going to her house and she was giving him a work out. He seemed to be constantly texting at all hours of the day and night and would never let me see what was going on.The final straw happened in the Fall. We were scheduled to fly to see my Father in FL and decide on placement for him in a memory unit. To take our minds off of it for one weekend we decided to take our son to StoryLand in NH. Tammy and her husband and granddaughter came along. She wore tight jeans and black high heeled boots to StoryLand. Something was very wrong. At the end of the day we retired to our hotel. My Husband was acting funny. Very peculiar. We have never stayed at a hotel together at a hotel and not made love. Guys just loooove hotels. Late at night he told me he was going out to smoke a cigar. It was ON!It took me a couple of weeks but I finally found the evidence. My Husband fell asleep with his texting unlocked. I began to shake as I read the texts from Tammy the slut Laramee! Graphic details of what she wanted to do to my Husband. How she loved touching her husband in front of him to make him jealous. I threw my phone at my Husband and at the same time texted her…….YOU are fucking MY husband! No reply but my husband’s phone kept blowing up. I told him he had to break it off that day! He informed me that she was going to go off the deep end….I offered to call Butler (mental hospital) for her. I also informed her family of what she was doing. Not one word from any of them. I also made sure that the law firm was aware that a married employee was having an affair with a married client’s husband. That she was also accessing my personal information. || He did break it off with her. Cleanly. We made promises and have become a wonderful family again. This has been the first time I have used her given name…Tammy L. Laramee. I have only called her ‘WHORE’ since the affair was exposed. I personally think is kind compared to what she has done to us. Please be aware that 50+ yr old bleached blonde with hair extensions and clothes that always seem to be too small for her is lurking after your men! Think of this as a public service message. Watch out for Tammy the Whore Laramee.
