On Tues, Dec. 7th 2010 I placed an online orderpurchasing a toy which was expected to arrive within a weeks time, prior to Christmas,with Young Explorers. The item did not arrive by Christmas, nor didI receive a notice of it being on backorder, delayed or any notice whatsoever. The only notificationI did receive was that the order had been placed and my credit card charged with shipping too. On Dec. 27th, 2010 I phoned the company and all they told me was it was on backorder and that i should receive it within a week. I also sent the following email: I am very disappointed in the item I ordered on your website Dec. 7th and as of today Dec. 27th it has still not arrived!!!! I was not informed it was a backordered item or that it would take over 3 weeks to be delivered! Please advise as to when we should receive this item since it was supposed to be here prior to Christmas. Thank you! I never received a replyfrom the email so I phone yet again and was put on hold for over 10 minuteswhen asked to speak with a supervisor so I hung up. On Jan. 1st, 2011 I had still not received the item ordered and so another email and phone call went out:Please have someone contact me ASAP at XXXXXXXXXX about my order which has still not been delivered. I have been calling and put on hold for more than 15 min at a time without being able to resolve my issue!!! I will NEVER order anything from your company again! Today, Jan 5th, 2011 I phoned them again and spoke with a customer service rep. who informed me that the item i had ordered was shipped but while in transit was placed on backorder. I asked her what happened to the item shipped then and how can they track it and she said we don’t know and no we can’t track the package but i can reorder the item for you but it is on backorder until March!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told her to cancel the order and credit my card back and that they had the dumbest company and i will never order from them again.
