I have came Scappoose Business & Tax Service a few times over the years when tax things get a bit more complicated. Like have a child or add a rental income.I like the staff but I never look forward to coming in because of the absolutely huge cost.I just dont know anyone else to use & dont want to use H&R Block.For being a licensed tax preparer & NOT an Accountant or CPA a simple 1040 with daycare & schedule A costs $250 + . Thats very steep for that return.They have missed filing deadlines because they work slowly. Even the first 1-2 weeks of Feb which is not prime busy tax season yet.If you add a schedule E you get quoted about $385 & when you actually file they jump the price up to almost $450!I really need to find a better place
