After the appointment, I left with a printout of my 2017 taxes all completed… All that was left to do was for you guys to submit it into the system. Also, initially I was quoted that my taxes would have been done for free. But since I had an out of state item,we (Brenda and I), had an agreement on a fee of 29.00 dollars, which I paid you guys. (see my posted pictures). If you guys dont plan on providing a service properly for discounted clients, then don’t offer them. You also stated that I sent my ID during the weekend, which is false, because according to my messages,the first one I sent to Brenda was on 4/3/2018, which was a tuesday. The second one I sent because “she didnt receive the first one” was on 4/9/2018 which was a monday. So I dont know where you are getting your “facts” from but I have kept everything from my messages to Brenda.Although my taxes ended up being submitted before the deadline, it was because I was constantly trying to contact you guys, and it ended up being almost 2 months since my initial appointment.I also didn’t want to write this response but you are making me seem like I was the one at fault which I clearly was not. I am just glad it is all completed. Thank you for your time.I did not want to write this review but my experience was horrible,and I wanted to share it with you guys. I went and got my taxes done real early this year because I travel for work and didnt know when the next time I would have the opportunity to do so. So I got my taxes done on Feb 21, 2018.. Then I left to california for work….. A month later,I still have not got my refund so I called Brenda and asked her if she has heard anything back about my taxes. She said that she will check and get back to me. I didnt hear back from her and I texted her asking if she heard anything.I got no reply. I was busy at work and didnt have time till the following weekend to check up with her. I called and left Brenda a message and she didnt pick up but she sent a text saying that she heard back from them and said she needed me to send them a copy of my ID so they can send it to the IRS.I thought that was weird because the first thing they asked me for when I went there to get my taxes done was my ID, so they can copy it. Anyway, I sent Brenda a copy of my ID, I did not hear back from her and I assumed everything was good.The weekend came and I decided to check on the IRS website to check the status of my refund and it said my info was incorrect.. I thought … hmmm… thats weird.. so I called Brenda again and she told me that she did not receive my photo ID… It got sent to her on my end but i really dont know what happened,so I sent her another copy. Then it was the waiting game again for me.. In the meantime, I have been monitoring the refund status on the IRS website to check the status and it said the same thing everytime….. your info is incorrect… So I called simplex back to ask them why it kept saying that. Their response was processing takes time,but it has been 3 days since I sent Brenda my picture of my ID… I didnt think it took more then a couple of days for my tax forms to be submitted.. So today, its nearing the tax deadline and I start to panic a little.. (I didnt want to get screwed over on my taxes this year) Brenda told me to wait but I didnt want to wait past the deadline and get penalized,so I called IRS to make an appointment to talk to a representative to extend my tax deadline.. They check everywhere in the system and tell me your info has not been submitted.. I trust them more then I do Brenda, so I called simplex and they message back saying to text them… Turns out,I was messaging Lizeth and she said that she would check it out when she gets into the office.. I call back an hour later from the last message to check up on it and the person who answered told me that it should be processing… I check the IRS website and it actually finally said my tax forms have been submitted and processing…Almost 2 months later from when I did my taxes with them… This has been a real pain, but I am glad it is over… They are really sweet people but I will not be doing my taxes with them in the future… Thank you for taking the time to read this… I just wanted to share my experience with you guys ……. take care…
