Ive just reviewed a clients tax return prepared by Stephen C Graves, CPA, and it is one of the worst prepared returns Ive ever seen.He used software that is not one of the industry norms (least of the problems), guessed at this gentlemans income and expenses, then reported them in nice, round, super questionable numbers.He also prepared a partnership return in record time, questions and all 30 mintues.Also with no estimated vouchers and with numbers so incorrect as to be laughable if not so egregious.His previous year return for this client was not signed “CPA, as was the 2008 return.I dont know if he is new to the industry or failed in his duty to sign with his title as is the law (I have not yet checked).PLEASE do not use Stephen C Graves, CPA to prepare any returns for your sake.He is not doing you any favors. Low fees and quick time does not mean quality.
