Original Complaint against The Expressway Clinic published at says, verbatim –

I DO NOT RECOMMEND FASTER CARE. I live out of state and was only in OKC a short time. But while I was there I acquired bad allergies that gave me headaches. So I made an appointment at Faster Care. When I got there I checked in, which .Took longer than expected, sat in the waiting room for a few minutes then was brought back. They took me through the normal things (weight, blood pressure, etc.) and then I was taken to a patient room.A nurse practitioner came in a few minutes later and as soon as she came in I could tell she didn’t want to be there. The whole time she asked me questions her demeanor came off as annoyed and arrogant. When she was done she went and got the doctor. The doctor was friendlier but still off-putting.She prescribed me medication and explained some side effects. Both seemed like I was wasting their time. The doctor was finishing up explaining the medication as she walked out the door, which made me feel rushed, and said it should be ready to be picked up in an hour.So I picked up my things and headed out of the room. The doctor was already heading into another room when I got to the hall. She said a brief goodbye and I was left in the hallway feeling unimportant and again rushed out the door. The next day I called Faster Care. After reading the side effects the night before (most were serious) I explained I didn’t feel comfortable taking the medication.I mean many patients contact their doctor when they have concerns about their medication. The nurse practitioner gave me attitude and decided to explain that all medication has side effects, that I couldn’t get a medication anywhere that didn’t have side effects.I then explained that I understand that (my chart there shows I’m on other medication…medications that have side effects…… I wasn’t born yesterday) and that I personally did not want to take this medications because I didn’t think the benefits outweighed the risks. So I pointed out the side effects that concerned me.She then went and got the doctor who was more helpful but also gave me attitude because I didn’t want to take the medication.Aren’t doctors supposed to be helpful, courteous and understanding of their patients? Neither said hello to me on the phone. In my opinion, if you’re on the phone with a client/patient at your place of work the professional thing to do is say hello and be friendly.I will say though, 2 of the nurse practitioners I spoke with when I first arrived were very friendly and smiled when they talked to me.If I knew their names I would mention them. But my all-over experience was not pleasant.I WROTE THIS REVIEW for anyone that’s looking for an all around good, friendly urgent care ….I advise you to keep looking. Faster Care isn’t it.
