Note: if you ever think you might buy a house, save your tax returns. Save them somewhere you wont lose them. Ever.Because if youre unorganized like me, youll end up here. Trying to simply get a print out of a 2011 tax return and getting turned away TWICE due to “high volume.You apparently need a “ticket in order to see a staff member to have them print out a copy of your return.Despite the IRS website stating that no appointment is necessary, you pretty much need an appointment. Or a hell of a lot of patience.I still havent made it in to one of the little cubes to actually talk to someone, but hopefully the third time will be the charm.Also, this building is a pain to get in and out of. No dedicated parking, a slow as molasses metal detector/security checkpoint, and very little signage to help you find where youre going.Im giving one extra star for the people watching: it is seriously impressive.
